Since his ordination, Glenn provides one to two teachings a month at Grace Community Church. His family also provides church services one to two times a month for the residents of Heartland of Oregon.

11/27/08 – Glenn completed the NaNoWriMo challenge to complete 50,000 words in 30 days (see NaNoWriMo for details).

Starting with zero words on November 1, Glenn completed 50,606 words by 2:30 pm on November 27 – Thanksgiving Day! For the quest, Glenn invited friends, family, and interested followers to name the characters, places, and different things within the novel through his Twitter account at www.twitter.com/gsasscer and through his email at glenn(at)sasscer.com. Glenn sends a thank you to all who helped, and invites them to continue – at 50,606 words, the novel is hardly completed. Join the fun – name the characters! 10/25/08 – Glenn completes “Visit with the Author” at the Harris-Elmore Public Library. He spoke with children and adults about his interest in writing as a child, how it developed, and what events opened doors to be a published writer.
